Mastering Question Tags
A question tag is a short question added to the end of a statement to confirm or clarify information.
Change the degree
There are three kinds of degrees like positive, comparative, and superlative which express different levels of comparison:
Use of No sooner --than/ hardly ---when
“No sooner… than” and “hardly… when” are used to describe two closely related events. No sooner --- than is also used as a negative sentence.
Use of be able to
“Be able to” is used to express ability or capability to do something. It can replace “can” in different tenses.
Rhetorical and Assertive
A rhetorical question is a question asked to make a point, rather than get an answer.
Infinitive / Gerund
An infinitive is the base form of the verb. Infinitive is formed from a verb but it does not act as verbs because an infinitive is not a verb; 's', 'es', or 'ing' cannot be added to that.
If / Unless
Sentences of if/unless is called conditional sentences. Rewrite the sentence using If/Unless .
Modal Auxiliary
There are two types of Helping verbs a) Primary helping verbs and Modal auxiliary.
