NEET UG 2023 Updates: Registration reopens; check how to apply, deadline

Update

The National Testing Agency (NTA) decided to reopen the registration window for NEET UG 2023 aspirants and said the registration window will open from April 11, 2023 and will continue till April 13, 2023. The candidates who missed their chance to register for the entrance exam can submit their application forms on the official website neet.nta.nic.in. The NEET UG 2023 candidates must note that the application fee can be paid till 11.59 PM.

Last Date : 13th April 2023.

Payment Date : 13th April 2023. (11.59 pm)

yourHow to Register ?

Students must first visit the official NTA website, and then read properly all the required information and fill the details. After that upload the asked documents and scanned images, pay the application fees and then submit the form. Students are advised to download and save the application form for future reference.

The students can apply at the official NTA website — neet.nta.nic.in.

Following the following Steps: 

1] Visit the official website— neet.nta.nic.in

2]  Click on the link for NEET UG 2023 registration on the homepage

3] Click on new registration and fill in details such as name, date of birth, gender, mobile number and email address

4] Once registered, login using your application number and password

5] Fill the application form

6] Save, submit and pay the fees

7] Download the application form for future reference.

The confirmation page of the online application form will be generated only after successful payment of the fee by the students. A copy of the confirmation page of NEET UG will be sent to the registered e-mail address.

Exam pattern

NEET UG 2023 will consist of 200 multiple choice questions from ( 50 questions in each subject) Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.  The duration of the examination will be 200 minutes means 03 hours 20 minutes.

Which colour pen should be used for signature?

Students should use a black pen for signature, instead of blue or any other coloured pen to fill the NEET UG 2023 application form.

Required documents. 

Upload the scanned images of the following in JPG /PDF format only.

1] Latest Passport size Photograph in JPG format (size: 10 kb to 200 kb)

2] Post Card size photograph (4” X 6”) in JPG format (Size: 10 kb – 200 kb)

3] Signature in JPG format (size: 4 kb to 30 kb)

4] Left and Right Hands Fingers impressions in JPG format (file size: 10 kb to 200 kb). Format for left and right hands’ impression to capture both hand impressions of the candidate for NEET 2022.

5] Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS etc.) in PDF format (file size: 50 kb to 300 kb)

6]  PWD certificate (Person with disability) in PDF format (file size: 50 kb to 300 kb)

7] Embassy/Citizenship certificate in PDF format (file size: 50 kb to 300 kb)

8] Class 10 passed certificate in PDF format (file size: 50 kb to 300 kb)

The application fee

The application fee for

a) general candidates –  Rs 1700;

b) general EWS and OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates – Rs 1600;

c) SC, ST, PwBD and third gender candidates – Rs 1000 and

d) for candidates from outside of India the fee – Rs 9500.

Choose password:

Students will have to choose a password, retype the same, enter a security question, and choose the answer. You are advised to keep the security question and answer safe as this may be required to retrieve the password in case you forget it.

To complete the NEET registration, candidates must verify the above details and submit them.
