1] As a class representative, write a speech about ‘The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020’ in 120 words.

      Good morning, honorable guests, respected teachers and my dear friends. As a class representative I, have come before you all to talk about ‘The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020’. introduced after 34 years since 1986.
     Friends, according to NEP, the 10+2 structure of school curricular will be replaced by a 5+3+3+4 structure. First 5 years means foundation stage in which 3 years of preprimary and std. first and second come, where there will be no books and exams. Second 3 years means std. 3, 4 & 5 where students can take math, language, science and art. The third -3 years means std. 6, 7 & 8 where students will learn computer coding and designing mobile applications.
       Second 4 years means std. 9, 10, 11 & 12 where, students can choose any subjects without streams like arts, science, or commerce. Exams will be semester-based. The first half course will be in first semester and after 6 months second semester on the remaining course which will reduce the stress of the students.
    Friends, here the policy has given importance to the mother tongue. I think this policy will build a new powerful India.

 Good morning, honourable chief guest, respected Ptincipal Sir, teachers and my dear friends. As a class representative I have come before you to talk about the importance of Blood Donation.

     Friends, Blood donation is the greatest of all donations. One can say it is a life donation! Friends. As responsible members of society, it is our duty to serve, and donating blood is an easy and effective way to help others.  

Friends, Today, our college has organized a Blood Donation Camp, and I appeal to all of you to participate. Why a person requires blood? We need blood during illnesses and accidents, and many lives are lost due to shortages of blood.  If we donate blood, we can save their lives.  

     Let me clarify all misunderstanding about blood donation. Many people think that we become weak because of blood donation, but it is not a truth. Blood donation does not affect our health. On the other hand, it is quite natural process. One person can donate the blood twice or thrice in a year. Hence my friends come forward and donate your blood without fear.

 Let us show that we are not only academically ahead but also socially responsible students. Let us make this event a grand successful and make our life meaningful! by donating blood.

   Friends, As Roosevelt said, “Courtesy is as much a symbol of a gentleman as courage.” So, using polite words like please and thank you is also courtesy. When you pass this courtesy to others, it becomes a circle. We have seen it in our lesson, “On saying please.”

Friends, the early riser finds time to take some exercise when the fresh morning breeze is blowing and this exercise supplies him with a fund of energy until the evening.

 So friends, for the healthy life, one needs to maintain a proper schedule of going to bed and rising from the bed, on time. You should not use the gadgets, like mobile, laptop etc. for an hour before going to bed. Early morning is the best time to study and gain knowledge. So friends, be early riser and be healthy, wealthy and wise.

In today's world,  It is impossible to make the development of a country without science and technology. We all know the value of science and technology in our daily life. Various aspects of science have made our daily life easy and we following modern lifestyle.

 Friends, on the other hand, a country's economic growth also depends on the development of science and technology. India is constantly developing in the field of science and technology. The Indian Space Research Organization has its own successfully launched Chandrayan, making India the fourth country among all other countries in the world to do so. Now we can launch satellites for other countries and become economically strong.

Friends, With the development of science and technology, we have got the benefits in the fields of medical, education, computer, communication, agriculture and defense. We can develop some deadly weapons to face the situation like Rassia and Ukraine or recent Israel and Gaza. Today nuclear energy has become a real threat to the world. So friends, it has both uses. But we should use these science and technology responsibly to create a better future for all.
