In 2007, Apple Inc. launched the first iPhone which revolutionized the smartphone industry. It changed the people’s interest in using interact with technology.
In January 2007, Steve Jobs introduced The first iPhone at the Macworld Conference and Expo that rans on iOS, a mobile operating system. The iPhone had a 3.5-inch display and a 2-megapixel camera. It also had a touch screen interface.
The iPhone was initially available only in the USA. but within the first 74 days of its launch Apple sold over 1 million iPhones .
Then day by day, Apple continuously improved the iPhone, adding new features and capabilities.
Apple launched the iPhone 3G in 2008, which had faster internet speeds and built-in GPS. The iPhone 4, launched in 2010, had a high-resolution Retina display and a front-facing camera for video calling.
In 2011, Apple launched the iPhone 4S, which included Siri, a voice-activated personal assistant. The iPhone 5, launched in 2012, had a larger display, faster processor, and support for 4G LTE networks.
In 2013, Apple introduced the iPhone 5C, a lower-cost model of the iPhone, and the iPhone 5S, which included Touch ID, a fingerprint scanner for unlocking the device.
Subsequent iPhone models have continued to introduce new features and capabilities, such as improved cameras, larger displays, and support for wireless charging. Apple also introduced larger-sized models with the launch of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in 2014, and later the iPhone XS Max with a massive 6.5-inch display in 2018.
As of 2021, the latest iPhone models are the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro, which feature improved cameras, faster processors, and new design options.
