    Rewrite the sentence using too - to - 01 Mark

    Points to Remember

    1] 1] ‘Too’ is an adverb of excess. It comes before the adjective and it has negative meaning. It has the following structure
    Sub + verb + too + adjective + to + infinitive. + obj
    2] Instead of too ‘use’ so and ‘to’ use ‘that + Sub + can/could + not ’ and rewrite the remaining sentence as it is.
    3] If there is for + subject, use them as the second subject.
    4] Instead of so ‘use’ too and use ‘that + Sub + can/could + not ’ use ‘to’ and rewrite the remaining sentence as it is.
    5] If the second subject is different, use for + subject before to 

    6] To show the Human character or mentality, instead of cannot /could not,  use - do, does, did, will, would + not

    Examples of  too - to

    1) He is too poor to buy a car.
    2) Reuben was too nervous to perform well on the stage.
    3) The boy was too small to climb the tree.

    4) My mother was too anxious about me to think about anything else.
    5) The job is too difficult for me to do without the help of my senior.
    6) He worked so hard that he can not fail the exam.
    7) The prime Minister is so busy that he can't meet without an appointment to us.
    8) This problem is so difficult that I can not solve it.
    9) It was so cold that we couldn’t go out.
    10) The path was so Slippery that we could not walk along it.
    11) The tower is too high for the child to climb.
    12) The book was too interesting for me to stop reading.
    13) His business was growing so fast that he had hardly time for a few hour’s sleep.

    14) The earth would be too hot to be habitat.
    15) He was too dejected even to lift his head.
    16) She plays the violin so well that she could perform at a concert.
    17) It was so cold that we couldn't go out.
    18) The path was so slippery that we couldn't walk along it.
    19) She is too weak to run in the race.
    20) Rajan is so dull that he hardly passed the exam.
    21) I am too tired to walk a single step in this forest.
    22) Mr. Rane is too lazy to complete his job in time.
    23) The peak is too high for our grandparents to climb.
    24) The mangoes are too cheap to be good.

    Ans: He is so noble that he will not harm anybody.

    29) Kajal is too shy to speak in the class.
    30) My teacher is too kind to punish the children.
    31) The farmers are so literate that they can't use the modern technology in farming.
    32) It was so cold that we could not go to the beach.
    33) The novel is so interesting that I can't stop reading.
    34) The instrument was too costly for him to buy.
    35) The child was so naughty that it would not obey its parents.
