1] As a class representative, write a speech about ‘The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020’ in 120 words.

      Good morning, honorable guests, respected teachers and my dear friends. As a class representative I, have come before you all to talk about ‘The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020’. introduced after 34 years since 1986.
     Friends, according to NEP, the 10+2 structure of school curricular will be replaced by a 5+3+3+4 structure. First 5 years means foundation stage in which 3 years of preprimary and std. first and second come, where there will be no books and exams. Second 3 years means std. 3, 4 & 5 where students can take math, language, science and art. The third -3 years means std. 6, 7 & 8 where students will learn computer coding and designing mobile applications.
       Second 4 years means std. 9, 10, 11 & 12 where, students can choose any subjects without streams like arts, science, or commerce. Exams will be semester-based. The first half course will be in first semester and after 6 months second semester on the remaining course which will reduce the stress of the students.
    Friends, here the policy has given importance to the mother tongue. I think this policy will build a new powerful India.

2]  Imagine you are a class-representative. Your college has arranged ‘Blood Donation Camp’ write a speech, appealing the students to donate blood.

   Good morning, honourable chief guest, respected Principal Sir, teachers and my dear friends. As a class representative I have come before you to talk about the importance of Blood Donation.

     Friends, donating blood is one of the greatest social acts because it gives someone a new life. Today, our college has organized a Blood Donation Camp, and I sincerely appeal to all of you to participate in it. 

    Friends, Blood is urgently needed during illnesses, surgeries, and accidents. You know, many people loose their lives due to the shortage of blood. By donating blood, we can help to save those lives.

   Let me clear a common misunderstanding—blood donation does not make us weak. It is a natural and safe process, and a healthy person can donate blood two to three times a year.     

    So, dear friends, let us come forward without fear and show our social responsibility. Let us make this camp a grand success.

3] Write a speech in 120 words on “India of my dreams’ to be delivered by you as a class representative.

Good Morning, honourable Principal Sir, Respected teachers and my dear friends, today, as a class representative, I have come before you to express my views about INDIA OF MY DREAMS.

    Friends, in my dream India every child will get quality education, and no one will sleep hungry. A nation where women will feel safe and there will be equal opportunities to all gender, caste, or religion. I dream of a clean and green India, free from pollution and corruption.  

My dream India will be a global leader in science, technology, and culture. The India of my dream will follow the policy of truth and non-violence. Where every citizen will be treated with respect and equality. The birth of a girl child will be celebrated in my India.

Together, let’s work hard to turn this dream into reality.

4] Write a speech in 120 words on ‘‘Health and fitness’ to be delivered by you as a class representative.

Good Morning, honourable Principal sir, Respected teachers and my dear friends, today, as a class representative, I am here to express my views on an important part of our life that is health and fitness.

  Friends, health is our greatest wealth. A fit body and mind help us to achieve success in life. Regular exercise, a balanced diet, and proper sleep, avoiding junk food and healthy habits stay us fit and healthy. 

Lord Buddha said, “It is our duty to maintain good health, we cannot keep our mind strong and healthy without good health.”

We should focus on physical as well as mental fitness. We can manage stress and keep us healthy through yoga, meditation, by reading books as well as maintaining good relations with the people.  So, I request you to stay healthy and fit and enjoy healthy life.”.

5] Write a speech in 120 words on the occasion of “Teachers’ Day” to be delivered by you as a class representative.

 Good Morning, honourable Principal sir, respected teachers and my dear friends, Today, on this special occasion of “Teachers’ Day,” As a class representative, I feel honored to stand here to express my gratitude (आभार) to our teachers.

   Friends, this day is celebrated on September 5, in memory of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was not only a political figure but also a good teacher.

   Friends, our teachers shape our future with knowledge, wisdom, and values. They inspire us to dream big and work hard to achieve our goals. Their dedication and patience make us successful in life. Dear teachers, we are grateful for your efforts and sacrifices.

       Friends, why is this day important? Isn’t it because students like us have the power to shape the future? Dr. Kalam’s life teaches us how determination can overcome every obstacle. Rising from a poor family, he became India’s “Missile Man” and later the President of our nation.

         On this day, let us remember his inspiring words: “Dream, dream, dream. Dreams transform into thoughts and thoughts result in action.”
      So friends, let us dream big, work hard, and serve our nation.

     Good morning, honourable Principal Sir, respected teachers, and my dear friends. Today, as a class representative, I am here to share my views on the importance of courtesy in our lives.

    Friends, what is courtesy? Isn’t it simply kindness and respect in action? Imagine you are tired and sitting on a bus. A lady with a baby gets in—what should you do? Naturally, you would offer your seat to her. That simple act of courtesy gives deep satisfaction.

    As Roosevelt said, “Courtesy is as much a symbol of a gentleman as courage.” Using polite words like please and thank you also shows courtesy. When we show courtesy to others, it spreads like a circle, just as we learned in the lesson “On Saying Please.”

      Friends, let us make courtesy a part of our everyday life

     Good morning, honourable Principal Sir, respected teachers, and my dear friends. Today, as a class representative, I am here to speak on the Benefits of Early Rising.

       As Benjamin Franklin said, “Early to bed and early to rise makes a person healthy, wealthy and wise.” But friends, have we ever asked ourselves why this is true? In the early morning, the mind is fresh, calm, and free from distractions. Isn’t that the best time to study?

      An early riser also gets time for exercise, which fills the body with energy for the whole day. But, we must follow a proper sleep routine and avoid gadgets before bedtime.

   So, friends, let us make early rising a habit and enjoy a healthy life.

     Good morning, honourable Principal Sir, respected teachers, and my dear friends. Today, as a class representative, I am here to speak on the importance of science and technology.

      Friends, can we imagine a single day without science and technology? Isn’t it true that everything—from communication to travel—depends on it? As Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam said, “Science is a beautiful gift to humanity.” 

     Today, even Artificial Intelligence is transforming our world. AI helps in education, healthcare, security, business, and daily tasks, making our work faster and smarter.

  Friends, India, too, is rising in technology. ISRO’s Chandrayaan missions have made our nation proud. Science strengthens our economy, defense, and global position. But should we misuse it? Definitely not. We must use science, technology, and AI responsibly for a better future.

10] Write a speech in 120 words on ‘Discipline shapes the future of a student” to be delivered by you as a class representative.

    Good morning, honourable Principal sir, Respected teachers and my dear friends, today, as a class representative, today, I stand before you to talk about an important topic of our life that is discipline in our life. 

   Friends, what is the true key to success? Isn’t it self-discipline? For the success in studies, career, or personal life, only discipline is an important the way. As Mahatma Gandhi said, “Self-discipline and self-control are the key to a great life.”
    Friends, in today’s world, there is no discipline among the students, is it beneficial for us?
    After all, we are the future of our nation. We will be the future policymakers of our nation. If during our student life, we live a disciplined life, that will help us to build a strong character as well as our nation.
    I think, friends, self-discipline is the finest ornament of a student. So, let us pledge to work and live with discipline and shape a bright future of our India.

      Good morning, honourable Principal sir, Respected teachers and my dear friends, today, as a class representative, I am here to express my views on an important topic that is “’Life without Modern Gadgets’”.
   Friends, can you imagine a world without phones, computers, or even washing machines? Wouldn’t life suddenly feel like going back to the stone age? Modern gadgets save our time, make work easier, and help us stay connected. As Albert Einstein said, “I fear the day technology will surpass our human interaction.”
      Friends, on the other hand, I think, without gadgets, our lives might become simpler. We would talk more to each other, enjoy nature, and use our creativity. all these necessary things which we have forgotten today. So, should we depend completely on gadgets? Or should we use them wisely?
Let us find a balance and stay connected with people, not just screens.

   Good morning, honourable Principal sir, Respected teachers and my dear friends, today, as a class representative, I am here to express my views on a very important topic—Mask for Safety.
  Friends, wearing a mask is a simple act, it protects us in a big way. It reduces the risk of infection and protects both the wearer and the people around them. By wearing a mask properly, we show care, responsibility, and respect for others’ safety.
  During the corona outbreak, masks helped save millions of lives. Even today, whenever there is a risk of infection or crowding, wearing a mask is one of the safest habits.
