Solve the test and Win the Prize

The degree of comparison is a grammatical topic that describes the different forms of adjectives and adverbs that are used to indicate varying degrees of the quality they describe. There are three degrees of comparison: Positive, Comparative, and Superlative. In the Positive Degree, the adjective or adverb is in its simple form. In the Comparative Degree, we usually compare two things by adding ‘-er’ to the end of the adjective or adverb. We usually use the Superlative Degree to show that something is more special than other things by adding ‘-est’ right after the adjective or adverb². For example: - Positive Degree: The cat is fast. - Comparative Degree: The cheetah is faster than the cat. - Superlative Degree: The cheetah is the fastest animal on land.
